Pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, on the protection of personal data, we wish to inform you that the personal data voluntarily provided by you to the Associazione degli Amici dell’Università di Padova will be processed by adopting suitable measures to ensure its security and confidentiality, in compliance with the above-mentioned legislation.

1. Purposes and methods of data processing

1.1. Browsing data.

The computer systems used to operate the amiciunipd.it website automatically acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of web communication protocols. This data, if processed together with data held by third parties, could identify users/visitors. This includes, for example, IP addresses and domain names of the computers used by users/visitors connecting to amiciunipd.it. This personal data is normally collected for statistical purposes, is managed anonymously, and is used to facilitate navigation on the amiciunipd.it website.

1.2. Cookies

The amiciunipd.it website uses tracking cookies, short strings of text sent from the site’s server to the browser of the user/visitor of the site, which are automatically saved on the user’s/visitor’s computer. 1.3 Purpose.

The data collected is processed exclusively to carry out statistical analysis, solely to improve the range of services offered.

1.4. Data processing.

Processing will be carried out both manually and with the aid of electronic or otherwise automated means, and includes, in compliance with the limits and conditions set out in Article 11 of Legislative Decree 196/03, all operations, or set of operations, indicated in Article 4, paragraph 1, letter a) of Legislative Decree 196/03: collection, recording, organisation, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, deletion and destruction of data.

2. Communication and disclosure of data

The data collected will not be disclosed or communicated to third parties, except in cases provided for by this notice and/or by law and, in any case, in the manner permitted by such notice or law.

The data may be brought to the attention of data controllers or processors, within the scope of their respective functions and in accordance with the instructions received, solely for the purpose of achieving the specific purposes indicated in this notice.

3. Rights of the data subject

With regard to such data, you may exercise the rights set out in Article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, within the limits and under the conditions set out in Articles 8, 9 and 10 of the aforementioned decree, by sending an email to amiciunipd@unipd.it

4. Data Controller and Data Processor

The Data Controller is the Associazione degli Amici dell’Università di Padova, with registered office in Padua, at Via VIII Febbraio n. 2, and operational office at Galleria Storione n. 8, Padua. The Data Processor for your data is the legal representative of the Associazione degli Amici dell’Università di Padova.
